Mrs. Gibbon graduated from UW-Oshkosh in December of 1987 with a BA in elementary education and a minor in language arts. She started teaching 3rd grade at Holy Angels in 1988. She taught 3rd grade from 1988-2015. In 2015 she became the technology coordinator and taught technology classes. In 2021 she took on the role of the art teacher while continuing to serve as the technology coordinator and teacher. She is the facilitator for the Yearbook and the Art Club.
We will be meeting in the Art Room every Wednesday. This club does have a $50 fee to pay for costs. It will begin on September 25th. Fees need to be paid by that date. Make sure your child has paint clothes for this club.
K5 | K5 will learn how to weave this week in class. |
1st Grade | First grade will start learning about weaving. They will create a bed to sleep in that has a woven bedspread. |
2nd Grade | The second graders will learn about Pablo Picasso this week as they create a portrait that is inspired by Picasso. |
3rd Grade | The third graders will finish their J Goldcrown bleeding heart pictures this week. They will then start their winter landscape painting. |
4th Grade | The fourth graders will finish their box of chocolates this week. |
5th Grade | The fifth graders will finish their cartoon character that displays two different types of art styles this week. |
6th Grade | The sixth graders will continue with their sewing unit this week. They will be creating Ugly Dolls. |
7th Grade | The seventh graders will start their animals this week. They picked an animal that they wanted to draw. They will be using a grid to make sure their proportions are correct. |
8th Grade | The eighth graders will continue working on their armatures this week. |
