Algebra is a course which is available for students who have been identified by their seventh grade math teachers through a combination of their results in standardized testing and classroom assessment. Students who succeed in the class will receive credit for the course at the high school level (East/West-those going to other schools may need to be in touch.)
6th grade religion concerns itself with the Old Testament, and the prophecies and covenants God made with the Israelite people which point towards Christ.
8th grade religion begins the year looking at morality through the lens of the commandments and the beatitudes. The last two-thirds of the year is about Church history, examining the last two-thousand years from Pentecost to Pope Francis.
