Holy Angels School iuses Standards Based Grading (SBG). SBG allows the teachers to track the students progress and achievements while guiding the  students to learn and reach their greatest potential. 

Holy Angels uses technology in all grade levels. Grades 1-5 all use chromebooks as a tool for learning. Many of their subjects have online resources that help differentiate instruction. They have weekly technology classes to help them use this tool. 

Spanish is taught twice a week for a trimester. Art, is taught once a week. Physical Education and Music are taught twice a week. 

There is one class for each grade at Holy Angels. Grades K3-1 and 5th have instructional support in their classrooms. 

Curriculum Highlights:

• First Grade learns how to be confident and independent readers. They focus on reading for understanding. 
• Second Grade learns about their First Communion and Reconciliation. They receive the Sacraments in Spring.
• Third Grade learns how to write in cursive during the year. They also learn how to multiply and divide this year. 
• The Fourth Graders learn about the Saints and plan the All Saints Mass each year. They learn about the regions in the United States in Social Studies class. 
• The Fifth Graders participate in BizTown each year.
